The Second Vatican Ecumenical Council (more commonly known as the Second Vatican Council or informally as Vatican II) addressed relations between the Catholic Church and the modern world. As such, it was pastoral in nature. It was the twenty-first ecumenical council of the Catholic Church and the second to be held at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican.
Several things were changed as a result of the documents released during Vatican II.
This page contains links to the documents that came out of the second Vatican council.
